The last week or so I’ve been busying myself ready for the marketing of our new business in Sweden, which I’m pleased to say is now fully registered set up. Yey!

It’s taken quite some time just to get this far, but, at least now we can theoretically get some money earned in Sweden. We’ve completed one website already, which we’ve thankfully now received payment for, and we’ve a second one just being developed for another client which should hopefully be complete in the next month. In the mean time, I’ve been busying myself getting business cards and posters designed to advertise the main part of our new business… which will be to offer pet services to people in and around Eslöv (training, walking, pet feeding, kennels, small pet hotel, etc etc). Lots of exciting stuff planned, but there’s a lot more hard work (and expense) before we get there with the big stuff, like an onsite training hall. For now, we just need to get the easy services launched and advertised…

Here’s a sneaky peak at a poster than I’m just designing which will have a pouch on the front, holding a supply of business cards. The business cards have also now been designed, and we’re currently waiting for them to come back from the printers.

Hopefully next week Dave will be out and about at local shops, vets, etc getting the posters put up and FINGERS crossed we’ll get some responses from them to bring in some cash whilst we then work on the next phase of the business, the training hall, on site shop, and kennels/pet hotel.

So, there you go, now you know why I’ve not been posting much on my blog lately, because it’s been a really busy period trying to get everything ready for the business to be launched and marketed… and of course I’m still going to Swedish language school 5 days per week, and when it’s not snowing, we’re working outside trying to prepared the training hall for a new concrete floor to be laid.

We’ve still got LOADS of snow here, and temperatures are constantly around -5 to -15 degrees… so working outdoors and in the stables has been hampered a little. Hopefully though, it’ll not be long before spring kicks in and we can really ramp up the efforts to complete the outdoor work.

I’ll try to post some photos of the hall soon, perhaps once we’ve got the floor down… I’ve been taking photos during each phase so it should be a (fairly) interesting project to see from start to finish.

For now, sorry for the lack of posts, but I’ll try to keep updating the blog as often as possible.
