Spring finally arrives in Skåne Bookmark and Share

After a false start early on in May, we’ve had a pretty long and hard wait for Spring to arrive in South Sweden. But, finally, it’s here! Yesterday it was so clear the air was warm, and then the sun showed itself at last. Finally we managed to get the grass cut and start on some much needed weeding. Today it’s been fantastic too, t-shirt weather in school, bright sunshine, and the garden has exploded with colour almost overnight. Winter has been so long and harsh this time that I’d almost forgotten how pretty the garden can look when it’s looking green… not white over!

I’ve just been out for a walk with the dogs in the garden before I have to start revising for my the second part of my Swedish Language exam tomorrow. I snapped a few photos of the flowers that are currently in the garden… and as per a previous blogpost, if you know what they are, then feel free to add comments (below). I’ve no idea, other than the Tulips! Oh and I think the blue ones might be Forget Me Nots?? Possibly? I dunno. I like them though.

Enough rambling, here’s the photos… There are larger versions if you click on the thumbnails below…
