Young angry businessman screaming on cell phon...

If you read my previous post, about dropping my mobile phone in a cup of tea… then you may be interested to know that, after 8 hours on top of the radiator (the phone that is, not me) drying out, I tried to get it working again.

I actually didn’t expect it to work because the last time I did this (yes, I’m stupid enough to have dropped a previous phone into a cup of tea), it took much longer to dry out until it sort of worked and even then it never fully worked ever again…

So, having put it all back together again, turned it on, and waited for a few seconds, suddenly it beeped at me and came back to life! Whoo hoo. How lucky! I’ve done a bit of testing on it and it seems to work just fine.

The moral of the story is, phones do have life after drowning, but they need at least 8 hours radiation therapy to fully recover.

This one didn’t recover. After my son left his mobile in his jacket pocket and went on the “AIR” ride at Alton Towers what a surprise when going through a twist the mobile phone took flight on its own doing about 120Km/h towards the ground. We have photos of the crash.
